I knew I had found the perfect tutor for my son the first time I spoke to Sue on the phone. First, she listened. Really listened. Then, after I described my son’s struggles, Sue gave voice to what I suspected was the cause. I wanted to hug her through the phone. Since then, Sue has been a beacon of light in our quest to strengthen my son’s academic skills and, in turn, bolster his confidence so he will feel as capable as we know he can be. And when I say “we,” I don’t simply mean my husband and I. Sue has made it clear in words and deeds that her focus is to help, not dictate. My son knows it too and has blossomed under her caring, but firm teaching. I have recommended Sue more times than I can count and will continue to do so with great enthusiasm.
